If, like LL, one of your all-time Malaysian favourite food is Chicken Rice, then you must surely pay this place a visit. Located on a corner lot, front row, in the block of shops just after the Puteri Mart, you won't miss its distinct yellow signboard. This place was introduced by my dear friend, Z, who is now officially the Puchong Food Guide!
Just take a look at their scrumptious juicy tender steamed Chicken...
One portion was not enough for us - we ordered a second helping...
Their white fluffy rice was fully infused with delightful flavours of ginger, garlic, shallots and chicken...it was not oily - just perfect to go with the steamed chicken and the various dishes we ordered. This delightful dip consisting of chopped ginger, spring onion and coriander leaves tossed in sesame oil and soya sauce went so well with the steamed chicken that we asked for several refills!
Z highly recommended their Kerabu Chicken Feet. Never doubt her recommendations - it's so good that we ordered a second plate, haha! The boneless chicken feet were seeped in a piquant sauce flavoured with lime juice, sugar and chilli padi, topped with huge shavings of bombay onions and cucumber! A refreshing salad, by any standards!
Almost every other table ordered their Curry Pork Ribs, so of course, we took that cue plus Z's urging, we also ordered it. No regrets whatsoever! The ribs were served wrapped in foil and the moment we tore it open, the wonderful aroma of the curry assaulted our senses. The ribs and potato chunks had been cooked to perfect melt-in-your-mouth tenderness. The curry was rich, spicy and very yummylicious!
We couldn't resist ordering their Pig Stomach Soup - and certainly, we had no regrets. Served piping hot in a huge claypot, the portion was very generous. Strongly flavoured with peppercorns and generously sprinkled with chopped spring onions, the tasty soup was full of pig stomach and pork.Of course, we must have our vegetables and Oyster Sauce Lettuce was our choice! That seemed to be my favourite vegetables for that week - I seemed to be ordering this everywhere!
The pork ribs curry sauce was so good and so as not to waste it, Z even ordered an extra bowl of rice and made all of us take a few spoonfuls! We finished every drop of curry and and every grain of rice, haha!
Wahh...look at the mess of empty dishes we left behind! For 4 of us, with all the extra rice and drinks, the total bill came to RM80.00 Quite good value, I would say.
My rating: 7.5/10

The pork rib curry sauce looks soooo sinfully good. The picture with the rice soaked in the curry sauce just got me drooling la.. do they have another branch somewhere else? cause this name sounds sooo familiar.
Hi sue! Thanks for dropping by :-) Yes the curry pork ribs ARE truly mouth-watering - you must order that if you visit this place. I'm not sure if they have any other branch elsewhere!
oh my god..tis is lunch this Sunday!!
Nomad: OMG, Yat Yeh Hing on Sat and Kong Sai on Sun?? You're truly infected with the Chicken Rice bug lah, lol! I'm sure u will love both places!
The only thing I don't like about the curry is that it is wrapped in plastic first before the foil. The toxic chemicals in plastic will leach into the food in high heat when cooking - not good for health. It's actually good enough with foil alone, without plastic, if they use good quality foil or double-layer the foil, if they are afraid of tearing/spilling.....
