If you are a pork lover and are yearning for some great porky bites, you must head over to this place because they serve the most delicious German Pork Knuckle with Garlic & Mixed Herbs (RM56) around! The huge huge portion of pork knuckle has been broiled and then fried till the skin is super crispy and served on a bed of soft creamy mashed potatoes, sprinkled with some chick and green peas.

Look at the size of the portion - can easily satisfy two hungry diners! As we cut into the meat, the yummy juices oozed out, revealing the soft tender layers of sinfulness...The pork knuckle is served with this piquant creamy mustard sauce - the tinge of sourness helps to balance the rich meat...

This was what's left after we have devoured the dish...hehe!Of course you must also try their German Sausages...they have quite a variety...we ordered the Bratwurst (RM36), served with mashed potatoes and sauerkraut and mustard...yummy!

Their Pork Chop (RM45) came in a huge portion too...the 2 pieces of chops were at least 500g in weight, served with butter garlic spinach, mashed potatoes and topped with a sweetish BBQ sauce. The meat was grilled to perfection, seared on the outside but so deliciously tender inside! The butter garlic spinach was absolutely great with this dish.Your meat dishes would go so well with this German beer - Paulaner. I'm not a beer drinker, but even I find it very agreeable - it's smooth, with a spicy woody flavour that didn't assault my taste buds. Nice beer :-)
The restaurant has some very cute and interesting statuettes lining the ledges of their windows... things that depict German culture, perhaps...

The courtyard outside the restaurant has this huge chess set laid out on the floor...
Although the prices of the main courses may seem a bit high, but you really get good value for the food - huge portions and very deliciously cooked. Service was superb too - courteous and very fast. The restaurant was about 3/4 full when we were there, yet our orders took less than 15 minutes to appear on our table. Will definitely re-visit this place!
